22 International relations The Court attaches great importance to dialogue and cooperation with Constitutional Courts in other countries. In addition to engaging in bilateral relations with foreign counterparts, the Court takes part in the following regular Conferences: – The Trilateral Conference of the Constitutional Courts of Portugal, Italy and Spain – The Conference of European Constitutional Courts – The Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Portuguese-Speaking Countries – The Ibero-American Conference on Constitutional Justice – The World Conference on Constitutional Justice Since 1990, the Constitutional Court has also been represented on the European Commission for Democracy through Law (the “Venice Commission”), which serves as a Council of Europe consultative body for constitutional questions. The Commission has its own documentation centre, whose function is to collect and disseminate the case law of the various European Constitutional Courts. Portugal plays a part in the work of this documentation centre by publishing English and French versions of a selection of jurisprudence on its website and in bulletins every four months. Auditorium
